I sell anything just so we can finance our wedding. so i am getting rid of some of my stuff so we will be financially set a bit more once we do get married. well i have here some of the stuff i am selling in the links below,but i wont miss the stuff once it is gone because I think she is more important than my stuff. check out the stuff if interested.

That's very noble of you. But even if they both sold for over $100 each, I doubt they'd come close to really helping finance a wedding.

Personally, I think the marrage ritual is played out and a little too... I don't know... hyped up. I completely agree with the idea of GETTING married. But people spaz over the details of it so much, it's like they kind of miss the purpose of it in the first place.

If I ever end up tying the knot... it'll be simple... like in my back yard with close friends and family. There's no need for anything else more.

Ah well, that stuff is pretty cool. Not worth the price it's selling for just to be hocked up for something as costly as a wedding. You need to look along the lines of selling... I dunno... a car or something.

::edit::

Teh forumz... they be stretched. what item is here

Weddings should not cause you to sell your stuff. That's all I'll say on that.

But congrats on getting married.

id say keep the items. its not very likely that your going to get any amount of money that will make a difference. just take a loan out from the bank, work overtime, cut back on your expenses, or just go for a cheap wedding.

i wont be marring my chicky till at least another 2 years. money is part of the reason. id love an all out wedding, but i know id have to settle for something small and special.

All out wedding are nothing but a waste of money.

It's rediculous what people expect you to pay for marrage services. Here's a better idea: Instead of saving up for years on end on a wedding. Do something small and homely... and save that money for your new life with your spouce. I'm sure it would get MUCH better use that way.

YEY Congrats!

Both me and my husband where broke. And our family's really did not want us to marry. Just like any wedding we want it to be memorable. I went to a state park and I asked
if I can use the park to get married. They said yes it will only cost you 50.00 for a permit. Then we went to a church and we spoke to a paster. He said, I can marry you two for 200.00. And that was that.
We bought our rings a head of time. I went to the florist and got some flowers to hold. My best friend took our photos. My mom and dad showed. But my husbands family wanted nothing to do with it. So... Out side of my Engagement ring that he got me the wedding was under 500.00. I think having it done at a park is much nicer then having the justice of the peace do it in a little building. And it really did not cost all that much.
We all went out for dinner afterwards and spent the night in a hotel. The next day my dad told me he put a down payment on an apartment. :)

Well, enjoy hope your day is magical. ;)
