I have no objection to that idea. It's fair, it allows everyone to have a turn.

I'll ask that when you make your topic, be considerate of the order of people who posted, and include information on your theme. Background info links, and visual reference links. PM me to inform me that the topic is up so I can sticky it and desticky the LoD one, for starters. This does not mean the others are closed. They can always be added to.

That's right people, it's a monthly character contest.

I want to get you ALL drawing, and don't shy out because there's nothing to lose.

I thought I'd give a KICK-START this month with Sony's PSone RPG title, Legend of Dragoon.

Only people from this message board may enter, I think that's understood.

I want to see YOUR work(Don't art steal, tis mean). You can draw variably anything from Legend of Dragoon. It's a good way to practice your skill, and it's fun to do.

No one is perfect at drawing, even the greatest of artists couldn't draw EVERYTHING.

This is for all of us, I want to see everyone grow and perhaps take some more interest in the creativity forum and breaking the safety zone on subject matter.

I forgot to mention I'll be participating, and to set the CONTEST deadline. People could draw LoD characters for this 6 months from now for fun and i wouldn't mind, but we need a deadline so the winner can pick the next theme. We'll let everyone from the forums vote via poll once the deadline hits.

I got the idea from a combination of something called a Monthly Character Contest combined with an Art Jam, which is a bunch of artists drawing the same subject matter.

Anything Legend of Dragoon.

Eek! I can't draw but it sounds like fun.. and I have never played LoD. So we will see what I may or may not come up with. If I ever have time >.<

Well, I was gonna draw Rose, but she's damn-near all black and MS Paint can't do it justice. So I chose Dart.

Also of note, I drew him in the chibi style in order to hide my inadacquacies.

I have not actually started yet... but i have two things in mind and i could do either... not well, but i could attempt anyway.
One is a floating cityscape, and the other i could do a moon thing in the background with a shadow of whatever character with those cool wing things going on...

I have run into a major complication with this... I have no scanner! whether i draw anything or not i need to find a scanner to get it online >.<
