Heading to Texas.

Well guys, I'm heading to Texas to start a new career.

By next Monday, I will be fully employed. I'll be offline pretty much all week and limited week after next.

Well, Ix left my place an hour and a half ago. He should be at his new digs within the next six or so hours. He won't have internet till he goes out and gets a modem and router... and find an ISP to supply him with some of that sweet sweet internet.

Ix is getting his own place. It was a last minute decision, but Ix will now only a few minutes from work instead of an hour.

Oh. So I'm guessing he decided to get an apartment in the complex I told him about. Or one around it. That's cool. Why did he choose to get his own place last minute? Didn't want to impose? Privacy? Or just didn't wanna drive a long way and get stuck in traffic?

All of the above, I assume. It may cost a little more, but it makes everything much more convenient for him. He was weighing all the pros and cons and was able to find a place the same day.

Convenience is always good, especially the distance thing. In Houston... you don't wanna mess with the traffic. It's pretty clogged. Got about 3-4 million people entering and leaving the city. Imagine rolling through that after work.
