After lots of procrastination, I finally started walking/jogging.
I'm very out of shape, though. I walked 3 laps, jogged 1, walked another one, then tried jogging again. (finished that last lap walking)

Given Bon's weight, pretty much any exercise is going to cause him to shed some poundage. Got a target weight in mind, Bon?

Wow, looking back at my first post in this thread, I started 5 months later than my designated goal. >_>
But I did some exercise today too. Hopefully I'll make it a daily habit. I like going to the Gym, but my goal is to try and jog every day and once I move and I'm all settled (in 2 months) search for a gym nearby wherever I end up moving.

I jogged some more today. I'm able now to jog 2 laps in a row. and a 3rd lap later, which is not bad considering my complete put of shapeness. :D
And I'm starting to enjoy it more too.

Well got an hour of excercise in. It is always nuts when Sensei wins a fight. He runs us ragged lol.

I'm starting with going down two pant sizes. Then...I'll progress from there.

I'm still plugging away with weights + running 3 days a week.

Although for about a month and a half, I went down to 2 days a week. I just had no drive. Then I've picked 3 days back up again.

So this Saturday I finished a race which involved, 12 people + 2 vans + 195.5 miles from Chattanooga to Nashville. My Team (Run Tan Laundry) finished in 28:14:52. It was certainly quite an experience, as it is basically a road trip combined with a relay race. Running at night through back country roads with a headlamp is an interesting experience.

Thankfully, thanks to your experiments with hair dye, a headlamp is not the dorkiest thing you've ever had on your cranium.

On Monday, November 22, 2010, I managed to max out the Leg Press machine in the gym finally. I did 5 reps in 12 seconds and I'm feelin' fine. :D

I had a small hiatus due to Thanksgiving, but I went back to the Y last night. I plan on going again tomorrow.

This is a great thread and I'm glad to see so many people are exercising.

I exercise 3 times a day 30 minutes each, with different times focusing on different things. It's more a "stay in shape" than reach a target goal though. Although I would love abs one of these days :/

Good luck everyone!

Ran my first half marathon last weekend. Longest distance I've ever run in one set, and also in my sandals :). 1:53 which I'm happy with, still could shave off at least 5 minutes if I actually train for the next one (i.e. have runs that are about 10 miles during the week). Did really good on the first half, then slowed down quite a bit after that, only small amounts of walking at the water stations to actually finish the Gatorade and water.

I am playing Your Shape Fitness Evolved and after about 6 hours yesterday (spread out over 4 sessions) my legs are so sore that it hurts to rise from a seated position.

The last time I knew my weight was May 2008. I got my weight taken yesterday during a sleep study consultation, and after an off-and-on diet regiment, I am currently six pounds less than when I was nearly 3 years ago.

Ixzion, his sister, and I have been going to the Y every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and are starting me on a rigorous cardio program that would start me off jogging for 10 minutes straight without a break. So far, I've had no problems, and I'm getting gradually leaner. Clothes are feeling loose, too. :)

You should add lifting to your routine. The more lean muscle you build the better your matabalisim and your body will burn more calaries naturally. Specifically large muscles. Legs, chest, ect. As soon as you stop doing cardio you stop burning the calaries. Lifting will make it so you keep burning them even after you leave the gym. This is pretty basic, so you probablly already knew that. Figured I'd throw it out there. Congrats on the weight drop. :) Keep at it. Results take time, but seeing your body change is a great feeling.

I started lifting with my buddy last june. I've been going at it fairly hard since. Started by putting on muscle. I'm right around 165 now. I don't want to get much bigger so I've been focusing on defenition. A LOT of circut training. My biggest problem still is the way I eat. Not so much the amount, but the type. I eat way to much junk. I burn anything I put in, but eating healthy really helps to define the stomach. "Diet" is something I'm trying to work on. Not so much cutting calaries, but healthier stuff.

Thanks for the feed, bro.
