A. D 100

The world Symphonia was facing a grave crisis threatening the life of all mankind, The Great War of Arcanal. The war happened due to the neighboring countires striving to conquer other countries and also it was due to the rage between humans and the gods. While the war happened the gods did nothing but watch from the heavens above and this caused the humans felt anger torwards the gods.

A. D 202

The Great War of Arcanal ended due to an unknown epidemic. With the humans low knowledge over technology and medical knowledge, there was nothing to do but wait until the humans die one by one. Watching helplessly, the three Gods of Music, Musa, Orpheus, and lastly Melodica went and created a plan to end the epidemic but with their limited power and due to the more powerful gods watching them, it was almost impossible.

A. D 257

More humans died each year and the numbers keep increasing. The Goddess Melodica then made a choice to go ahead with the plan without fearing of the consequences ahead. She sacrificed herself and returned to cycle of life and was reincarnated into a young girl. Melodica then changed her name to Cleya to disguise her true identity as a goddess. Melodica gathered all the humans in Symphonia in the desert of Arcanal, where the great war occured. She then sang a song crafted by Orpheus and Musa and herself that restored the epidemic and brought peace upon Symphonia. She then spread her teachings of Hymns and Song Magic to all the females in Symphonia and soon Songstresses appeared throughout the world. Technology finally progressed rapidly and new discoveries was introduced throughout Symphonia. It was like the humans were blessed by Melodica. The humans lived peacefully without worries through the passing years.

A. D 300

The Gods finally knew about the plan that Melodica, Orpheus, and Musa has executed. Furious, the gods then sealed Melodica, Musa, and Orpheus's soul into three locations in Symphonia which were kept secret among the humans. And the Gods cursed the lands of Symphonia, creating a new epidemic, "Infel Contagia". An epidemic that would soon return the world to it's former state....

A. D 687

The epidemic, "Infel Contagia" occured rapidly. Songstresses suddenly went mad and destroyed towns and cities. All the males and remaining Songstresses that weren't infected fought to the very end, but their effort was a waste as the Infel Contagia victims were too strong to defeat. Soon the human population started to decrease. At a snow village called Lutie, a warrior living with his wife and daughter were struggling over the Infel Contagia break out and soon they and the other villagers went and evacuated into a ruin nearby village. There the villagers found something odd, a glowing light sealed in magic. The warriors wife then stated she could break the seal with Song magic, and she did. The soul was free but has no host to possess. At that moment, the villagers made a decision to place the unknown soul, possibly a god's soul into the only child among the villagers, the warrior and his wife's daughter.

A. D 692

Five years later, the villagers went back to their normal life as the village was saved from the Infel Contagia victims outbreak. But the peace only lasted for awhile as one of the Gods descended into Symnphonia, notified that one of the three Gods of Music soul were unleashed from it's seal. The God, appearing as an old man burned the village of Lutie threatening to turn it into ashes along with every living human in it. The condition was that the warrior and his wife handed over their daughter but of course no mere parent would do just that, so the warrior distracted the godlike old man while his wife ran and escaped with their daughter...

A. D 704

The world was back again in shape. The Infel Contagia has been able to be taken care of as the Kingdom of Midgard military force were able to wipe a large number of Infel Contagia victims and Symphonia flourished like the ages when Melodica came into the world. Infel Contagia victims are still running loose but the Midgard Knights of the Midgard Kingdom are always ready to eliminate them. But, what will happen next? Will the world fall apart like it was destined to be? And what ever happened to the surviving woman and daughter of Lutie? The story follows Alex, a young man part of the Midgard Knights following missions of handling Infel Contagia outbreaks, but on one particular mission he finds something, something that could restore the epidemic Infel Contagia, a song that the three Gods of Music passed down, the song that Melodica once sang on the desert of Arcanal, the Song of Melodious.
