But yeah, I'm already pumped about the new tank class. Being able to duel wield can be broken as hell. I've also heard a few things like that there will be a freaking mini-map this time which is going to infinitely helpful. Either way this game is going to be fantastic.... well, assuming we're all going to get together to tackle it. <derp>Let's just make sure we all get it on PS3!</derp>

Mini Map!!!! I also am thrilled that the guns now show obvious traits from manufacturer to manufacturer. Bandit guns! Yes please!

I am a bit disappointed that the dual wield feature is a berserk skill rather than a base skill. Oh well, it probably works out in balancing the game.

The guys behind Borderlands again show they are caring to their fans more than any other company I know. A fan of the first game passed away of cancer at the age of 22. Not only did a Claptrap give his eulogy, but they also promised to put the late fan into the upcoming Borderlands 2.

as soon as i get a job im going to preorder this from amazon. god i am sooooooo excited about this game. the first game was f*cking fantastic!

One of the alumni in my college comm department worked on the first game. One of the professors was ecstatic and posted a "PLAY BORDERLANDS" sign all over the building around release date. I think it worked! Perhaps too well, since I couldn't find the thing at the local rental place even when they had 3 copies. I ended up buying it the first day, with no regrets. Didn't get far, single-player can be a harsh mistress on that game. However, my old college friends got it much, much later(part of last year?), and acted like it was new when I suggested it at release. I don't talk to them anymore for unrelated reasons, so I got pretty far this time around and got stuck again. I may just saddle up and finish the rest of 1 solo just to see if I can do it. SOLDIER AW YEAH

2 looks amazing, and though I know there will be a time when the DLC packs inevitably come in a game of the year edition... I kinda just want this game so much that I don't think I can wait. The graphical style is amazing, and the loot is pretty fun as well since I'm an MMO-type somewhat.

Thinking I'll have Maya as a main possibly, but I need to see how the other characters handle first.

im looking at maya as a main. i played the siran in the first and enjoyed her immensely.

i didnt find single player to be too challenging but the game is awesome multiplayer. i spent a great deal of the game playing with a friend and did my second playthrough by myself. just know your character and look for better weapons. if ya got borderlands for 360 i can pop on and help ya if you want. i still have some dlc stuff ive never completed.
