Best thing I've seen about MK in a minute.

That was fantastic. Or at least as fantastic as a videogame-to-live-action piece can get. The whole time, I was waiting for Kano to get stabbed in the eye, because with someone pointing out that they have the technology for a laser eye, and Kano not having one... you know it's going to happen sooner or later. But yeah, this got me pretty pumped for the new MK game coming out, so I started to look up some gameplay video as I've only seen little pieces here and there... and then I found this:

Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing more of this series. It should be entertaining to say the least.

Holy cow, you are right. Kung Lao is without a doubt the biggest dick who could ever grace the Mortal Kombat franchise. The way he was holding up the remains of his victim like a trophy was the dick move here, not even the fatality itself (by comparison).

.... And yeah, I can't wait to see Kano lose his eye.

Episode 2 is out. It's pretty awesome. It's even more Mortal Kombatly than the last.

That said I have also picked up the MK 2011 game yesterday. But due to Portal 2, I have yet to pop it in yet.

I saw this episode and I thought it was awesome as well. However, the Youtube comments are saying that they edited a part of this video.

They did! I saw the video within the first our it was up, and I can totally vouch for (I'm not sure how that's even possible, but as you said... it's Mortal Kombat). I'm completely stumped as to why they took that out. I mean, it wasn't even THAT gory.

Punching a man's eye out is quite literally about as unrealistic as that time Rambo karate-chopped a dude's head clean off. But at least Mortal Kombat has an excuse.

You know Kano is going to wake up from that totally pissed.

Episode 3 is out and PRE-CENSORED FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY.

I am SO GLAD they took the time to censor all the cursing and majority of the blood. There was a little from that producer guy, and that made me horribly uncomfortable, but at least they kept it to a minimum. They sure are taking Mortal Kombat in the right direction!

Ed Goodman was wrong, Johny Cage was not a Power Ranger he was a Kamen Rider.

I don't know if anyone else is keeping up with this, but Episode 9 came out. It was about Sketor and Cyrax... and it was freaking amazing. I was even noticing moves from MK9.

And for convenience sake, I'll edit the first post with all the videos.

Also, Ix, I think you'll be glad to hear that they seemed to kind of toned down on the censoring. Full on decapitation and a lot of grotesque surgery stuff are in this one.
