Nintendo is holding their Nintendo World 2011 Conference this weekend starting tomorrow at 8pm EST.

Though I prefer 64 over THREEEEEE DEEEEEEEE. I was already pissed at the term before this. But what can you do?

I've heard that the new Final Fantasy title for the 3DS is to be shown at the convention, though it's possible it won't. There has been some evidence of it being a FFVI remake though.

Also, if not for the fact that the PSP title was including the full title of The After Years, I'd be all against that.

That makes no sense though. Why would they remake III, then IV, then skip V and go straight to VI? I mean, I still fail at reading, but I'm still finding this a little weird.

I'd assume they'd skip V for VI on the DS for the same reason they skipped III for IV on the GBA.

You mean besides the fact that there is yet to be a port of FF III brought to the states, even today.

I don't see how that matters. Every time they brought over FF4, it got retranslated.

I think there's a slight difference between releasing a game to the US for the first time ever (like if they released 3 for GBA) and completely skipping a game that is already well established in the US.
