Aight, so here's what the problem is. A few days ago before I took off for Alabama, I was playing a game of football online. All of a sudden, the video blacks out, then comes back in all these distorted colors and sh*t. I'm betting something may be wrong with the video card. I've switched out the video cables from component to HDMI as well as some other hokie thing I got so my PS2 would work. None of them fix the issue. So, I'm at a loss for what to do. I've tried removing the HDD and see if that did anything, nope. So, anybody have an idea?

Sounds like its the ANA/HANA if what I have been told is true. Nothing you can do about that but send it in or replace the system.

Things like this and problems I have had with my other 360s are exactly why I am getting the 360 S this winter. It shouldn't (not yet time tested) have the problems of the earlier versions.

I've had my box for about 3 years. I guess I should've figured it would come to this.

What does the hard drive bay in the new 360 slim look like? can you slap a hard drive from an older 360 without having to break the hard drive out of the casing?

Previous Xbox 360 hard drives are not compatible with the slim. He'll have to get a transfer cable or maybe a good flash drive, as memory units are not supported in the slim either.
