Honestly, I kind of wish it was in 2D like the first two were, just with more polished sprites, but it still looks pretty good IMHO.

Visuals are nice.

However, I've had a bad history with Golden Sun on the GBA, so I won't get this.

Really? I think you are just about the first person I've ever heard of playing Golden Sun and not liking it.

I only thought Golden Sun was ok. I'm unsure on whether I'll get this or not.

Day One purchase for me.

I love this series. Bought both games new (a real rarity for me), and still have the boxes and books and maps. Hopefully there will be some sort of backwards-compatibility with the GBA games.

I made the mistake of playing both titles in a row. By the time I made it through the second, I had been playing for 60 hours total and was ready for it to be over. Getting lost in the second game sure didn't help. And the ending of the second was a complete cop-out. Sets us up for the next story, oh wait, changed our minds, let's have the next villain be defeated by his own ambitious foolishness after the credits and we'll call it the end.
