So I'm getting Heart Gold on the 17th. The original G&S were perhaps the best pokèmon games ever released, and I'm looking forward to HG.

A new gimmick they're introducing for these games is a pedometer you clip to your belt which keeps track of how many steps you take. As you walk & run, you accrue points called Watts. These Watts allow you to unlock special Routes that you can set your pedometer to and get new items and pokèmon as you walk around irl. Speaking as someone who only walks when he gets up and goes to the fridge, I plan on cheating and taping my pedometer to my 32,000 RPM Dremel. And maybe buying a couple off of eBay to open up and hack.

I'm also looking forward to going back to Kanto in current-gen graphics. Interested in seeing what they do with that.

Altogether, I think that if you are going to buy a pokèmon game and haven't played one since the original G&S, then this is the one to buy. Can't wait. ^_^

Already bought, already loving it. Got the 4th badge and I'm going to attach the pedometer to myself at work, where I move around alot.

Got 10,000 steps at work, and caught a Wobbufett and some items.

I'm having an absolute blast attaching the Pokewalker to my dog's and cat's collar.
