In the Chrono Trigger/Chrono Break thread, alot of the talk was of Chrono Resurrection.

For those of you who may not know what that is, it was a 3D remake of the original Chrono Trigger. Refer to thread mentioned above for more information.

But the reason I make this thread is because there has never before been actual footage of the game.... until now.

There is a video of the demo... of which starts off like chrono trigger, but has a Time Gate in Chrono's Home that skips to the Zombor fight at Zenan Bridge quite a few hours into the game. The demo also covers all the menus and such.



According to the description, there will be more videos to come.

This video was released just two days ago, and is the first anyone's ever seen of the gameplay. Hope you like it.

im not a real fan of the 3d stuff they have so far, seems like it isnt much plus is just meh.

Isn't going to like what? They haven't made anything since the C&D letter. There's no reason they can't show what they had before they got canned.

This game, with the polish that was sure to come, would have made Squeenix look bad.

Psh... they made themselves look bad. No work on the Resurrection team required.

Awesomeness. Though, I think I like Frog better as a 2D sprite. And their victory poses seemed a little slow and clumsy-looking.

While I was around looking for CT related stuff, I stumbled across someone on youtube. He makes his own music... and it was really really awesome. Here's some examples:





And he makes it all from scratch. I spoke with him, and it turns out he is Mathew Valente, the guy on the Chrono Resurrection project and was handling all the sound. He even talked with me a bit about the C&D letter. Seems he just took it with a grain of salt. Anyways, he still makes music all the time, and it's absolutely amazing. You guys should take a gander.

That's some nice work. I am impressed. Good for him for not dying inside with the C&D.
