I have an answer for you, readers. A Gameloft representative has confirmed to me it's a remake of the 1994 original game released on Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis, not a new game.

This remake has a one month exclusivity to Xbox Live Arcade and will appear elsewhere after.

Earthworm Jim 3D just left a very nasty after taste in my mouth, and I need a new one to get it out.
