It was announced on the 15th, and it's to be released this year in Japan. I'm sure eventually Atlas will most likely get around to translate and release the game here (Seeing as Working Designs is no longer in business ).

Not much else is known at point, at least as far as extra content goes.

I was about to say, since WD can't translate this one, I can't imagine we'll get a NA release.

Maybe Ubisoft or Atlus will pick this up, but I'm not hopeful.

Well, Ubisoft has experience with the Lunar series (Though Dragon Song was a bad game and Legend wasn't a very good remake). But Atlus is pretty well known for translating and porting games to America that are generally well known in Japan.

I don't own a PSP, so therefore my excitement is minimal.

I LOVED Lunar on PS1. I can't wait to see this hit the states!

Ubisoft should have their hands full with Beyond Good and Evil 2... or at least I want them to. But yeah, strange thing: I'm actually playing Lunar 1 at this moment. Just kicked Nash out of the party to spend some alone time with Luna whilst fighting a giant mushroom. Too bad Nall is still hanging around.

Hey Lantis, the funny thing is, I beat Lunar 2 yesterday before I found this info out. Oh how I wish I could finish Lunar 1, but alas my disc 2 is mean and will not allow me to enter the frontier without freezing.

What does that matter ultimately? You still get to see Luna sing on the mast in that cutscene long before you enter the Magic Emperor's domain. Her song alone makes the sixty dollars I had put down to buy this game worth it. ^_^

Okay, no cut scene is worth 60 bucks. Besides, those cutscenes almost has the same choppiness as Chrono Trigger's cutscenes.
