I'm actually uber excited about this. This is the first fighting game to include characters from animes dating as far back as 1972. There are some in there I don't even recognize.

I did, see Kashin Robot Hunter... which is pretty damn old. There's even rummors that new capcom faces will be in it, like Dante (squee)!!! Also, do any Megaman fans know the relivance of area being fought in on the second part of this video? I sure did. ^_^

I entered this topic with no much interest. But after seeing that guy from G Force, and Rival School representation, I feel excited!
Probably it was just nostalgic factor.

The game looks slower than Alpha3 and Marvel Super Heroes vs SF, and thats a good thing for me. Also the Megaman stage is from my favorite megaman game so that interests me quite a bit.

It'll be the first time the "Legends" Megaman will be seen in a very long time. Imagine playing as one of the Bonns. ^_^

I recognize only the guy with the beak-shaped glass helmet. Which brings tremendous disturbing nostalgia as I have no idea what the name of the anime is or when or how I ever watched it.

G-force was the name of the anime... And that guy's name is Ace.

G-Force sounds so wrong.

I love how funky Japanese are with their character designs. Some of those guys on the images look so absurd they're funny.

Capcom fighters have to be the most challenged yet. Imagine Ryu hanging around in his office, eating pizza (okay, that's Dante, but still) when Chun Li rushes in...
"Ryu, we've gotten a letter from some weird anime company. They say they have a bunch of guys in funky suits waiting to kick our asses."
"Oh, no... again?"

You'd think everyone would've figured the Shoryuuken by now.

I little update guys... Tatsunoko vs Capcom has been released in Japan for around a month now. A few sources say that Capcom is fighting to get a localization over seas, though not to expect anything as of yet.

Looks like we may not get the game... but we may get the source engine for future games. Disapointing really.

So I thought I'd set out to try and cheat the system and visit my friends at Play Asia. And while that really does sound like a porn site, you can actually get imported copies of games... so I went to see if they had TvsC.
