I'm affraid I'm going to have to pass. It looks like DQ9 only with a different skin. Cept the enemies, they don't look any different. I think DQ is the only series of RPGs were they get away with creating almost no new enemies outside of bosses. I mean, you'll find a Behemoth and Marboro in ever FF. But DQ has as many new monsters as FF has returning enemies.

But I think 8 pretty much ended my intrest in the series... kind of like the same way Sonic Heroes did.

I'm not opposed to it being DS. I mean, the Nintendo handhelds are finally getting a new RPG instead of yet another port/remake (not to say I don't love what they did with FFIII and IV, and DQIV). But the game is using a real-time battle system. That's not Dragon Quest.
