Are you kidding? This is nothing more than the 3D trash they've been making just with better graphics.

Get the damn camera from behind sonic and make it a freaking side scroller like it use to be. Geez, and I had hopes for this one too.

Keep the pretty graphics... but make the game mechanics like Rush for the DS.

Sorry man, garbage is garbage... no matter how many more pixels you throw in there. This is the same quality game as Sonic Heros, just without the horrible theme song.

It just shows Sonic running and blowing by enemies at a pretty fast pace. It has nothing about the plot in the video. How would you even know?

I've never played sonic for the plot. To me, the sonic franchise doesn't need an epic Final Fantasy plot... just go beat the hell out of Dr. Eggman.

No... not even then. Even if it's the best game in the world, it's still not Sonic. They've come close to getting it right... but they just let it slip every time to their fancy graphics and 3D environments.

Can you say with a straight face that the Sonic titles are just as good, if not better than they were back in the Sega Genesis days?

Some are good, some are bad. I just play to play. I'm not the type of person that makes critical judgments of a game because it doesn't live up to a past game. It's just silly and takes away the fun that you could have. If I don't like a game, then I just don't play it anymore. To me, it's not really THAT big of a deal.
