Magonian Gamer's Night (MGN)

As a gamer, what do you remember about the good old days when you hang out with your friends? For me it was crashing in the living room and playing video games till late into the night.

So what is Magonian Gamer's Night?

Magonian Gamer's Night is when we will all get together and hang out while playing video games. How does that work? Well, you remember back when we got on Skype and spoke with each other? That lasted for a few weeks, and I think it was a good idea for the most part. But now I want to take that to a new level.

So with that in mind, know that Skype can host video conferencing. The plan is for one person with a webcam to set up there camera to be looking directly at their TV. They then start a video conference on Skype... then up to 9 people can join and talk with other Magonians while playing through a game.

I've already tested this out with a select few members and it does, in fact, work. We can all sit down and play games together. Just like with the guys, you can tell them they suck at dying at such an easy level... or give them tips or hints if they are missing a secret area.

Up to 9 people are good to come in and hang out... we will probably do this once a month for a while to see how it turns out. If there's enough people involved, we can move it to once a week. And it's open to anyone who has a webcam. I think that I'll be hosting the first few nights until we can find more people who are willing to play.
