Babelfish Translation:

Quote:
The mythical project that s' being God War III announces off on PlayStation 3 will take form as of this year, since Sony confirmed to us during the living room of l' IDEF, which is currently held within the luxurious and paradisiac framework of Cannes, which Kratos will make an appearance in high-definition in Los Angeles, with l' occasion of l' E3 2008. The chances d' to attend a session of gameplay, lever in hand or not, are quasi null, but the spectacle will be worth the turning, puisqu' it s' will act of the first appearance of the Gods of l' Olympe in l' era next-gen. For memory, let us recall that the exit of the title is had a presentiment of for the festivals of end d' year of 2009, as we brought it back to you last January.

This is great news. I love the hell out of the previous two games. Anyone else hear a Kratos player?

Although his constant anger is hilarious to me instead of emotional.

I don't think I've ever heard Kratos speak in a non-angry voice. Still, this is great news!

Heh, babelfish.

I'm kind of curious, Ix, if you randomly go to gaming web sites in japan and randomly translate them at babelfish to see if you stumble upon extremely awesome bits of data such as this.

But to the topic at hand: So far, I have played every God of War game released (Granted, that's only three... but whateves) and have really enjoyed all three. And I think it's the story over anything. Greek mythology done very very well is always going to be great in my book.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear it's in production already... I am kind of expected a 2011 - 2012 release.

*begins waiting game like with DMC4*

*sighs*

Three? I thought it was just two.
Probably something on the PSP, right?

I've only played 1, never finished, but I love it. What attracts me most is the epicness of the setting. I don't really care if it's Greek mythology, Haitian voodoo or US politics – as long as it involves impaling a giant hydra's eye into a broken ship mast, I'm game.

Yeah, there was a PSP game that was before God of War 2. Think of it as God of War 1.5 or something.

Anyway, while I do like greek mythology, I also have to concur that you really get a sense of empowerment from such crazy stunts. I think one of the worse/best ones was in God of War 2 when you fight the cyclopses.

...

Cyclopsi?

whatever...

Anyway, you stab your way up their knee and sholders with your blades and proceed to jam you hands deep within their eye sockets enough to give their huge eye a few good tugs till eventually you rip it out. Always a party with Kratos, you know?

Definitely always a party. And I can't wait for 3 considering 2 dropped off at such a cliffhanger.
That's almost literal too considering Kratos ends the game on the back of an earth titan.
Going to be freaking fantastic. Apart from the beautiful and awesome fighting mechanics, GoW actually makes routine puzzle solving and door unlocking fun. Because ya never know what else is gonna pop around the corner and screw ya over :P
