Okay, so I've played the fourth Resident Evil on multiple platforms. And yes, out of them all, I think I liked the Wii version best. And yes, it was because of the controle scheme.

But how much MORE better is the Wii version to any other version...

Only slightly.

I mean, the only differnece is that it is a more of a "light gun" experience and you have to move around a bit more what with shaking the wiimote instead of pressing A+B or X+O or whatever.

With that said, the link above is to an article written by a seemingly fan boy-ish fellow. The way he speaks it's like saying RE5 isn't worth sh*t unless it's on the Wii. Then in a comparison, he compairs a INCOMPLETED character model of Chris still in mid-development on a computer to a finsihed rendered in-game model of Leon and states that it's not that big of a difference.

In actuallity, the Wii DOESN'T have the graphics capability for reality that Xbox and PS3 have. Also, RE4 wasn't next gen. Trying to port a PS3 game to the Wii sounds like it might not be too good of an idea at this time.

I am, however, very much looking forward to RE5's release and will be picking up the PS3 version as soon as I can get my grubby little hands on it. The control scheme (while better) for the Wii, is just not so great as for me to wait around 8 months in an attempt to try and port it over to a console that doesn't have enough power to really be able to play it.

Indeed, if we're going to talk flack about RE4 on PS2 because it wasn't powerful enough to handle the GameCube game completely, it's only fair we do the same about RE5 being ported onto Wii.
