I beat MGS2 last night in 8hrs but I was completely confused by the ending. Mostly when I play metal gear games I would put the pieces together and get the story. I already beat Metal gear Solid 1&3 first. But When I finally beat the second installment I felt like I was left in the dark about the whole situation. But in the end I learned that the 12 patriots died a hundred years before the incident. That's really confusing. So my question is who has found out the whole story?

I don't think anyone truly has. I just played it and was done with it.

I thought I would get the answer's at the end of the game. Oh well time to beat it again.
