There was an old thread about this a good ways back... like many months back. Maybe even a year. But yeah, I'll will be picking it up.

Me and Kajak talk about from time to time. Maybe it'll start up a decent convo here.

If that gun really exsisted IRL.... and you can only connect two points at any given time, where would you put the portals?

Seeing as I have some friends a few hours away, I'd probably just like, shoot my closet door and their house.

Aw man! This game is only for PC. :(

This game looks like it could be pretty fun.

I need a computer. :\

I wonder what the requirements for such a thing are. Doesn't look like it'd take a ton of power, despite high-poly graphics.

Was there a part 1 to this game?

For what ever reason I thought I read some thing about that, this was a part 2 of something. :?

Well, no. It came as a demo of part 2 of Half Life 2... think that might be it?

Wow, I never watched the video because I thought "Meh, a FPS... I suck at those" (and I REALLY suck at those) but curiosity led me to check what this "awesome portal game" is about, and I'm very impressed! (AlthoughI'm also easily impressed, which is a good thing when it comes to looking for things to be entertained)
But I'm not getting it. (Reason above)

It doesn't seem to be a first-person shooter, though. It looks more like a puzzler.

Oh I LOVE puzzles.
To be fair, it's not just that I suck at FPS... it's just that I'm also not too interested in them. (The only one I really got into was Goldeneye for N64)
If I ever get a PS3 or a 360, I might give this game a try tho.

Ugh, this game looks so awesome it hurts.

Too bad it's not supposed to hit PS3 until December.

Boooooo!

This game is really cool. I don't like how the controls work though. They use the WSAD KEys, to move. And you use your mouse to look and shoot your portal gun.
The first 10 puzzles are a snap. But they get super hard. Also you get to hear the womans voice threw most of the game. And she does say some really funny stuff from time to time.
Well, hope you enjoy it. Don't want to ruin the experience. :)

Are you kidding? I think WASD is the best controlling style in gaming today. I wish I could play Warhawk on WASD... like, pretty badly. Ah well, I guess it's just a matter of the gamer.

In fact, I was going to wait for it to come out on PS3... but since you brought that up, I think I'm going to go ahead and grab the PC version. ^_^

I'm use to playing on a normal controller. TAI told me he would be able to plug in a controller into the computer so I can play it. Well, for what ever reason. We can't do it that way. I played Tomb raider on the PC and I got use to using the arrow keys. This is the first time I'm playing using WASD. So I need to get use to it. :/
