Its pokemon with a few new things.

Im not very far into it, but you get a neat pokewatch thing that has all these apps that Im assuming you can get more for.

I cant wait to do some wi fi battlin.

My GameStop wouldn't break the street date for me so, I'll be picking it up in a few hours at 8 am. >_< I'm thinking it's going to be a pretty ugly scene after going to the Wii and WoW Burning Crusade launches.

I picked up Pearl today with a cheaper price at Circuit City.

Once I get to the first gym, I'll post what I think of it.

im enjoying the game so far, but i really wish they had allowed you to do more with the stylus. You have to switch pokemon with the pad still, that would have been much easier with the stylus, and the framerate issues are kinda annoying, but its pokemon, and i'm liking it.

I got Pearl, Fruple got Diamond. Happiness abounds.

I just sold a lot of copies and repeatedly got bitched at about not having any more of the Bonus Styli left in stock.

I preordered Diamond from ebgames.com for the stylus, and it's still in shipping until an expected 4/25 date. Also, I can't play it until May 9th anyways because I don't have my DS up at college.>_>

Framerate issues? In a Pokemon game?

I haven't noticed any framerate issues.

One thing that kind of bothers me about the game is that the pokemon still make the same little noises they did way back in the GB games. They just sound out of place being such low quality.

Oh yeah and I'm a bit disappointed in the guide I bought. It has a lot of good stuff in it but, it doesn't have a full Pokedex with all the moves each Pokemon learns at what level. I hate the whole delaying evolutions crap really. I think it makes things more complicated than they need to be. Do they expect me to go check a pokedex at gamefaqs every time my pokemon are about to evolve to see if I should delay it to get a move I'll miss if I let it evolve? How is the average gamer who isn't looking at guides even supposed to know this stuff?

Other than that, I've been having a great time with the game just taking my time catching all the pokemon I can and leveling them up. I really like the new stuff in the interface. The Poketch is a nice idea and I like using my thumbs for picking moves.

Didn't Silver/Gold have the same thing?

Yay! I have my copy. Totally smelled the new game smell. I also got that stylus since I pre-ordered from EBgames.com.

But now I just need a DS and then to trade my starters in order to get all 3.XD

I got my second badge and hanging around the haunted mansion leveling up to around level 26. I am currently around 24 on all of my pokemon.

And I decorated my secret base with my two dolls and furniture.

Anyone still play Blue? Red? Silver? I love those ones...
