I went to Sam's Club to purchase a Club Membership. I originally went there to purchase a bed and I picked that up and then I walked around the store. I was about 5 minutes from leaving when the intercom said "We have Nintendo Wiis in stock."

I just about had a heart attack.

And the beautiful thing about it is, it was about 10:30 in the morning, so it was mainly old people who didn't care. It took me about 10 minutes to find where to ask for one, and I was the first one there!

They only had it in a $300 bundle, but that was fine, since it also came with Twilight Princess (thought I have it on GC already).

And all this time, I had been planning on camping out at Target on Sunday.

The way I got a PS3 was quite similar to your gaining of a Wii.

Now, seriously, I had panned to have it already, but I'm a bit short on cash right now. As long as I have Wii by the time super Smash Bros. Brawl comes out, I'd be a very happy and unhateful person tho.

It's really addictive for the very first try playing it, i stayed up 24 hours playing all the games I hope you will to enjoy the great gaming experience of Wii ^^

wii sports is the BEST. I love that 'knock down a bagillion pins' mode where they keep adding pins.
And who could forget Wario! My favorite baton form intro is the one about bicycle shorts. BK is right, its addicting, but oh so worth it.

I hardly step outside the genre of RPGs... when I do, it's usually action seires such as DMC and such.

*waits for GoW II (4 more days)*

And fighters are pretty good from time to time as well. As for sports... not so much. I get tired of games whos goal is nothing more than getting points... I'd much rather save the world. From pp like. Zeon... or Lavos... or Sepiroth... ect.

Which I guess was a determaning factor when I chose my platform durring the console wars last year.

You MUST play wii sports. It isn't like a sports game. It is just awesomely awesome fun. Makes for super number one best time. I'm actually going to be getting a wii in the next couple of weeks... if my girlfriend lets me(whoopah)

Anyway, I'll pass. The only real title I was die-hard for was TP. but cross platformed to GC, so I have no real reason. I mean, I guess I would like to play Red Steal and a few other titles. But nothing has really pushed me to buy a Wii yet.

Red steel is fun but way over hyped don't let that title be your deciding factor.

It doesn't say much for a system when you tell me that one of the only games that intrestes me... isn't that good. ^_^

Anyway, I'm quite happy with my PS3.

Well it just wasn't as fun for me as TP and Wario.
I'm going to my friends tonight and I can give RS another go and see what I think then. But for the price I think the Wii is worth it. The graphics aren't near the 360 or PS3 but that wii-mote is awesome

*points out that the PS3 controller has just as much tilt control as the Wiimote... and DOESN'T look like a dildo*

This is true. But it can't tell distance and position. (And the remote looks like, well, a remote. And I don't want to know how you handle your TV remotes...)

Anyway, try Sonic and the Secret Rings. Supposed to be good for a Sonic game. But I can't recommend any games personally, as the only Wii game I have is Zelda.

I've played a few titles over at a friends house. And some games are fun... but the fun of those games are playing them with other people. It's kind of like Halo. The MAIN (note: I did not say "only") reason people buy Halo is to play multi.

But I'm kind of a loner I guess. Besides, Wii will need ALOT more RPGs before I'll get it.
