Mine would have to be LOZ:Ocarina of time master quest in Kakoriko Well (with the dead things and stuff trying to eat you).

No, seriously. Near the top is this small room with crystal balls hanging down from the ceiling. That room freaked me out when I was younger, because I kept expecting something to pop out and attack me. Still kinda an eerie room.

Any place anywhere in a MegaMan game.

Really, as colorful as they are, those invincible enemy things just keep popping out of nowhere and relentlessly attacking you.

Boss rooms then... I won't even comment on them =x

Location: Out there. In that place. You know, with the "thing"
It's a tough choice, but Id have to say that the first time I played MML, and got into the Sub Gates, I was thouroly freaked out.

However, I think the spot that takes the cake was the Saul Kada Ruins in MML2. Just for the sheer OMGWTFBUJESUS!IJUSTSHITMYSELF!!1-ness of it, I'd have to say that section where you can see the Dinosaur Reaverbot Boss ploding along in a separate chamber, and you have to pass thorough a hallway that over looks said chamber. And I'm refering more to the SECOND of these hallways.

The scariest place i would have to say is Drake and the 99 dragons. The camera angles were so horrible.

... I am surprised someone actually thought of that. That room did seem a little creepy for having been made with NES graphics.

For me, it was definitely the protagonist's bedroom in Silent Hill 4 once the ghosts would take over the place.
To hear all of those children crying without actually being able to see them, and that child-sized shadow that you can see in your closet as soon as you get out of bed from having waoken up .... *cringe* Worse yet, I could not find where to set the holy candle down in order to eliminate that particular ghost, so I had to keep putting up with it until it just went away on it's own.

Honestly a lot of places in Valkyrie Profile freaked me out..the designs and music mixed well to give a really disconcerting feeling quite often.

But the worst place evar (and this is from my childhood so give me a break) is the damn tunnel in Quest 64. That green one....where you're basically running on that root or whatever.. I still get a creepy feeling from it...it was so long and I just expected bad things to happen the entire time.

I agree wtih everything that SK says... but only to a degree. There is one thing that tops that.

The final level in Man Hunt. The one where Piggsie stalks you with a chainsaw in a dark, closed off, run down, hotel. There's no music... an all the sudden you here a chainsaw and God only knows from which direction it comes from. Then a huge fat huminoid pig chaces you. And if you manage to hide in the shadows somewhere, he will try and smell you out. It's horrible... he will get really close to you... and if he finds you?

The worst part is after he wanders off. And you just deside it's time to move again. Because there's not telling how close he still may be.

The foul beast:

For me it was when I removed my Chrono Trigger cart from my snes for some quick Star Fox action and later placed it back in my system to find all data lost...
I never could muster my strength to go back to rebuild, but was eventually graced with FF:C to relive my adventures in.
