Dungeons...whoa, most of them are just annoying for me.Especially the ones with the challanging puzzles and just impossible to defeat enemies :XD sometimes it tires me out.So, here's the list of the dungeon that i think is annoying and making me frustrated:

1.ToL-The Lost Forest (or that forest maze)
2.Grandia 3-The Final Dungeon
3.Final Fantasy X2-Inside the Fayth and the Thunder Plains

I have one specific choice. Going through the water temple for the first time on Ocarina of Time without a walkthrough(didn't really have internet then).

MY GOD. :cry

Even with a walkthrough that dungeon was still a pain in the butt.

... Aside from most of the dungeons in Ocarina of Time (although I just naturally wasn't good at that game, I will freely admit), though, for me I would say the most - or one of the most - obnoxious dungeons I have ever gone through was either the inside of Sin in Final Fantasy X or the Sword Shrine you go to right after visiting Parcylete in Lufia 2, the former because of its unncessary length combined with a particularly nasty cast of monsters, and the latter because of its fun little combination of a block puzzle I just could not figure out for the life of me and the obnoxious wood monsters that just refuse to fall after several repeated physical hits.

Lol, this is going to be easy:

1. Ancient Cave from Lufia 2 and Lufia TLR
2. Forest Maze from Mario RPG without looking for Geno.

... Why would you not look for Geno?

Tales of Destiny, towards the end. You had to walk through a maze and every time you stepped infront of a mirror you have to fight yourself, which wasn't easy. And to top it off, if you hit a dead end and had to walk back infront of the same mirror... you had to fight again...

Any dungeon that throws random battles at me while I'm trying to solve a tricky puzzle.

I can't think of any specific dungeon, though.

agreed. totally agreed. that dungeon sprawled so much, it was just A TOTAL MESS.

fun, though. ^^

though i'm not a fan of that book level on ToS, you know, the secret one with the 15 levels or however many there are *shrug* i forget. That dungeon just irritated me, the combination of no way to save and a very long period of battling and levelling without knowing if you'd get enough spirit force or w/e that junk was called you were meant to be collecting to actually pass the level.... just didn't amuse me, even though i did it fine first time. It was more stressful than fun.

maybe i was taking it too seriously. ^^

How about any RPG that has a dungeon with the title, "Cave of Trials".

:lol Eagle Tower...yeah, it is confusing.I've tried. Also, agreed! The water temple on the Ocarina of Time...was just had that OMG factor.:XD I used a walkthrough last time i played, but it was still just stinking hard.

Oh, oh the optional dungeon on Radiata Stories was also stinkin hard.Fighting all those 5 (or was it four) dragons. Then next you have to fight Valkyrie, Lezard, Gabriel Celesta, and Ethereal Queen (I've lost lot's of time fighting her >___>)

I unfortunately played Ocarina of Time my first time using a guide, so I did not experience the difficulty that other people did, and I've got the dungeon memorized enough that it'll never be difficult for me unless I find a good way to make myself forget it. However, there will always be this one key I'll forget, requiring me to go through changing water levels multiple times to go back and grab it.

I usually forget the key on the second flood level that requires you to blow up a crack in the wall.

Or the one below the spikes in the center columb.

(The latter was eventually corrected over a few plays through)

...

Oh, and why is it that these keys vanish after you use them. I mean, is there acid in the keyholes?

Isn't it obvious? The keyholes disappear when you put the key in. Likely the key disappears with them.

Yup, that's the one. I always forget it.

... The only dungeon in Ocarina of Time that I found to be more complex (in terms of time and difficulty) than the water temple was the one after it; the shadow temple. I feel beyond any doubt that my personal dislike of this dungeon is the very reason why a few months ago I had a nightmare about being trapped in the shadow temple with no magical glasses (whatever they were called) to see invisible floors with or a sword to fight off monsters. ...... Of course, I didn't wake up from the nightmare until I just had to experience plummeting into one of the hundreds of bottomless abysses in that place while screaming my lungs out in fear. ... (*cringe*) I hope I never dream about something like that, again.

*points finder and laughs manically at SK's misfortune*

But anyway... I played through OoT enough to where I could complete the Shadow Temple without having to have the glasses... it's not too terrible, actually. The only time I had issues, really, was the big spinny reaper guy rooms. Doesn't matter how many times you play through, you are bound to be hit. Oh and hitting the hookshot plates was pretty hard too. But if you just line it up with the silver ruppee, it wasn't too horrible.

The final dungeon in Shining Force Neo was too long with no worthwhile reward.
