This is from La-Mulana, a homebrewed game released in 2005/2006 (don't know exactly). It's a japanese adventure-platformer that was designed to play, look, and feel like a MSX old-school game.

And it has great music!

Check out at least Mr. Explorer and Fearless Challenger. This game's soundtrack is purely awesome, for a home-made game. We who use RPG Maker should know.
