The ending was disappointing. I wanted a sense of closure, but it never really came.

What a pain in the ass, because the final boss was a pain in the ass to beat.

So, has anyone played Arc 5 and tell me a bit about it? Is Lilia in there? Please say she isn't there, she annoys the hell outta me.

Arc 5=end of darkness

Well, I liked Arc 4 more.
Arc 5 has a different battle system (real time) but you can get cards to use all the heroes of Arc 4 (and yes, Lilia is one of them) and a couple of the other ones from the previous one (that's the cool part of them game)

Equipment and special attacks are handled as cards. You can equip one armor card, one weapon card, one accesory card, and 4 action cards. These can be a special specific to the character, healing item, offensive item. Each use depletes a portion of a bar.
You can do missions to get stars, and when you get enough stars, you can take a test to raise your rank, which in turn gave you another bar to use specials.
Story is nothing spectacular, but you get to meet and see what has happened to many of the characters of Arc 4.
And you can play vs mode online or something. (I didn't have online capabilities back then)

Anyway, my brother got the Arc The Lad collection a while ago. I have yet to finish Arc 1. I've been interested in it since a few years ago. And seeing some of the characters in arc 5 made me more interested in it
