well that means the sonic series will die unless things shape up.

The sonic games that have been coming out aren't even worth the rental. I rented Shadow the Hedgehog about a couple of months ago, omg there could've been so many things that made the gameplay and storyline better. Its just crap, after crap. The game is too short, and it seems like the sega team isn't trying anymore. They are much like capcom when it comes to the street fighter series. The only way it'll get good is when the fans step in. In a way that has already been done.

Well, there's always hope for the one coming out on Wii.

If its produced by sega it doesn't matter what system its on. Sega will make sure its not worthy of a sonic game.

Well, I've read a few comparisons between the new games. The verdict is that the Wii Sonic is better than the PS360 Sonic. How much better, I dunno. I just wish they'd fix the camera and combat. I rather enjoyed Sonic Adventure 2, at least with the Sonic/Shadow levels (not so much the scavenger hunt and robot-riding levels).

You say that as if you already played the game for the wii. The verdict is that sega lost their touch. There are plenty of games after sonic adventure 2 to prove their worth.

What about the GBA Sonic games or Sonic DS? Were they any good? I kinda enjoyed the first one, though the random spikes were annoying.

Sonic died after it left the Sega systems.

Get Sonic the Hedgehog Mega Collection Plus... and take everything esle and get rid of them.

Nope, Sonic is still owned by Sega, and Sega is a third-party developer. All the new 3D Sonic games (and the two collections) are multiplatform. Except for the Wii Sonic, but it has the PS360 counter part, so it doesn't really count.

And Draygone wins.

I believe thrid party companies is really the best way to go. You never have to worry about the war of the consoles... all you do is make games and sell those titles/rights to said console companies.

That's a little disappointing. I (wishful thinking) hoped that sega may be able to recover some of there lost sonic-glory.

Oh well....maybe with Secret Rings.
