My Dreamcast's internal battery has been dead for quite a while now, and I'm getting tired of seeing the clock settings screen whenever I turn the damn thing on. and I'm really tired of having to set the correct time whenever I want to play seaman.

I know the dreamcast's internal battery is replacable with a CR2032 battery, but thats all I know. Anyone have ideas how I go about replacing it? it's soldered into place, and soldering a new battery in it's place is a scary thought, as batteries don't get along with extreme heat.

For soldering I would have to suggest prepping the solder into place only tapping VERY lightly and quickly. Be accurate though. The longer you leave the iron touching, the riskier it gets.
