I know for sure I'll get it the first day it comes out. Not because if has Final Fantasy on the title, but because it has... VINCENT VALENTINE on the game!

Sure, I'm not a real fan of shooters, and I prefer RPGs over anything else, but It's Vincent! It will HAVE to be good or some heads will roll.
The good side of this is that since I seem to be a blind Vincent fan, I might enjoy the game if it still turns out to be bad.

DMC is the best powertrip action packed game ever. Outside of RPGs, I dare say it's my favorite series (with disreguard to DMC2... but I still played the SNOT out of it).

But yeah, I've been anticipating DoS for a long time. Can't wait... specially now...

Well this isn't an rpg its a 3rd person shooter with alot of action.

I guess they'll ruin the FF series if they keep doing non-RPG games. Admit it, all those FF7-based games are coming out just because it's trendy. According to FF tradition, games should have no sequels... they only make sequels when it gives money.

The guys are getting too greedy. Soon, the series will crumble because of that.

I disagree. Final Fantasy VII will always be great... reguardless of how many spin-offs they make. Granted, the non-RPG game might begin to suck. But it comes from a much greater origin, that I think, will never get truly old.

I agree. The past you cannot change... if it's great, it'll always be great.

The problem comes when you start to try to revive the past. What's gone, it's gone. FF7 is OVER, guys. It sure was the best. But it's about time they move on.

Make some FFIX sequels, biatches.
Sometimes I think I'm the only person waving that particular flag, and my arms are getting damn tired.
It was my personal preference of the 11 console games out so far, and I found VII to be great (as I did most others), but still not the greatest.

Well, I already have the game, and it's not bad. Not great either.
I'm not mad that it wasn't the greatest game ever made, and I have to admit I wouldn't have evn looked at it if Vincent wasn't the protagonist, but the story is entertaining.

I haven't gotten it yet, but I heard it gets pretty creepy later into the story

By the way, I'm half-way thorugh FFs 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10. For over 3 years now.
