Its a good game except that its too short like the rest of sonic's game. An example would be shadow the hedgehog.

To my understanding, all the 3D Sonic games have problems. I enjoyed Sonic Adventure 2 Battle some, but it wasn't a total blast like I was hoping. But then, I'm not that big of a sonic fan (despite owning Sonic Mega Collectin Plus).

Agreed.

But pretty much every other Sonic spinoff, from Shadow the Hedgehog to the new Sonic Riders is a pile of garbage. Poor Sonic. :cry

Sonic Heroes was the worst Sonic game I've ever played. I'm a big Sonic fan.

The camera angles suck and deaths at the hands of it are plentiful. The game simply isn't fair and the levels are so freaking big, that it takes 10 minutes to beat each one. Lose all your lives, and its back to the beginning of the stage, which isn't your fault because the game cheats you at every turn.

This is one of maybe 4-5 games that has ever made me throw my controller out of anger.

I never threw my controller at Battletoads, Viewtiful Joe, Devil May Cry....this game sucks.

OMG, Ix... you read my mind. I agree with every last word.

I have the Sonic Mega Collection Plus for PS2. You can unlock actual Sonic comics. You can actually read them page for page. You can unlock other games, some of which aren't to good, but still. To unlock one game, you have to have a game save on your PS2 memory card of Sonic Heros. So I'm like, "hey, that's cool... I like sonic anyway". BIG MISTAKE. The game it unlocked was one I had on ROM on my computer anyway (which wasn't even sonic related).

Anyway, I'll send Sonic Heros with me to game stop to use it to help for reservatioins for a PS3... And FF XII... and Dirge of Cerberus... and whatever else crosses my mind.

Oh and Ix, since you play Devil May Cry, your coolness meter is increased by 5. (7 around n00bs)

*can't wait for Devil May Cry 4*

hahahaha, you THREW your CONTROLLER!?!

ah, god. They cost money, you know? :p

reminds me of the time we had a Halo 2 system link going on in uni, a 3vs3 game, and the guy sharing an xbox with me threw his pad away.

it ended up disconnecting from the port and going out the upstairs window.

a cautionary tale. :D

Makes a while since I don't throw my controller. And I own Sonic Heroes =P

Never got past the burning generator room in the city stage, though. Tried 5-6 times and never touched the game again.

HOLY CRAP! REGAL!!!

*tackles*

Now stay!

In Ix's defence... there is nothing wrong with getting a little frustration out on your controller. My PS2's controller's rumble feature doesn't work anymore... In fact, at one time I remeber it being loose enough that when anything made the controller rumble, you heard this tapping noise at machine gun speed. But I've had plenty of controllers.

But something tells me that these tilt sinsitive controllers for the Wii and PS3 won't take near as much damage... Looks like I need to get a stress ball or something.

lol, well im guessing he then stopped playing the game...

btw, i own sonic heroes, it made me ill. I've reached the annoying jungle level, with the whole;
'i won't know if i jumped properly until i either land safely or plunge into endless depth, because the camera doesn't show my destination' thing.

the game annoyed me, but it was a bit better in multiplayer, in that i actually kinda liked the vs battle mode the first few times i played it.

on the whole, not a good purchase...

Alot of sonic games shouldn't be bought, sonic heroes, Shadow the hedgehog, Sonic Riders. Sonic 2 for the NGC is the only good game avaible besides the first one on the Dreamcast

What??? Well, Mega Collection Plus's score just went down a few points! ...I guess I could just rent the game real quick, make a save file, and unlock the game. What game gets unlocked since I don't do hacks?

Comic Zones or something like that.

But seeing it's not even a sonic title, it should get docked to bad.

You can also unlock two non-sonic titles called The Ooze and Flicky...

Besides those you get every sonic title for the Sega Genesis and Game Gear. But they also have a hack of Knuckles in Sonic 2 which was pretty interesting...

*get's Sonic Hero's theme stuck in head*

Blast you OW!!!
