Check 'em out. Fire Monkey and Electabuzz evo FTW!

The grass one is a rip of Chikorita! Bleh. The bird one, of Torchic. And there's an Electabuzz evo down there. And a pre-evo of Sudowoodo.

The only new thing is the monkey one! xD It's about time they make a monkey pokemon better than Mankey and Primeape.

The first one reminded me more of Bulbasaur, but I can see some Chikorita in it, too. The third one, definately yes, a water version of Torchic. So it would be... Soakchic? (Torchic = Torch and Chick, Soakchic = Soak and Chick)

Hmmm, there's something really weird there.

See, in every other game, when you chose your starter poke, your rival chooses the one who has advantage against yours.

But the small screens show battles where YOUR poke is fighting another starter poke, and the one with the type advantage is YOU.

That means, either:
1) In this game, your rival is really dumb, or
2) You can find wild starter pokes.

Interesting.

3) They're showing a 2-player battle.

I hate pokemon no matter what colors they come in.
I just think the whole idea that they say there names over and over as a way of them talking is stupid. Thats like everyone naming there cat meow because it says that. Or naming your dog bark because it barks. How dumb is that?

It's been years since I played it. But since it was something that really defined my childhood, I can't forget ANYHTING about pokemon. No matter how hard I try.

I agree, but they need to do a serious upgrade over the current game Pokemon noises that they've been using since Day 1. Even in the console versions, the "voice clips" sound like they came straight out of Red and Blue.

They do need an upgrade the battles of the pokemon and pokemon look good in the anime but not so good in the game. Its just the same, if only you could have an action rpg for pokemon like StarOcean or Tales of Symphonia

No. Pokemon is a RPG, forever. And it has a great RPG engine, with the moves and stuff. And when they added brewing and other features, it became even cooler as a RPG.

Actually, there is Pokemon Ranger, which seems to be an action-RPG of some sort.

Really? I've not atualized myself in the gaming world for months now.

It's only something I caught during E3. Not sure what the whole deal is, as I don't pay much attention any other time.

I guess that if they try to diverge pokemon from RPG to Action, it'll mess up the series. Badly.

That monkey caught my attention. I seem to notice a trend. In the first one, I liked the water one (Squirtle), the second one, I liked the fire one. On the third one, I liked.. oh wait, I liked both torchic and mudkip (sp?)

I don't have a problem with them. It's only logical that there would be Pokemon that have similar lookalikes around. It happens in the real world. Raccoons and Tanukis, Lions and Tigers, all sorts of dogs and cats, etc. Why should the Pokemon world be any different? Asking for completely unique new Pokemon is asking for a little too much.

BTW, I'm probably gonna wind up with the Fire starter Pokemon. That's what I always go with. Fire and Lightning are my elements.

I think talking animals are cool. I just hate the sounds they make. There names over and over. If they can change that. I would not have a problem with them.
