How many of you know a game well enough that you can quote its entire script? Like of somebody asked you what is the third thing Cloud says in the Gold Saucer, you'd be able to tell them. Not necessarily perfectly, but pretty close at least. You can brag you know the script to any game, though you get more "bonus points" if the game has a hefty amount of text in it (i.e. not Super Mario Bros. 1). Note: I'm not really keeping score.

Me, it's easily Super Mario RPG. I've played through that one so many times, it's now impossible for me to lose in it without handicapping myself (though it's a relatively easy RPG, but still). I can't tell you what the random townsperson says (maybe some, but not all), but I can pretty accurately tell anything that's said during the mandatory parts of the quest.

What about the rest of you? Maybe we can challenge each other to quote parts of games.:)

"Don't ever give up, my son."

*Andross turns into a floating brain*
"Only I have the brains to rule Lylat!"

And, of course,
"NOOOOOOOOO!"

It kinda helps that each line was made to fit into a small text box. I can't remember how many lines there were. Something like 60, I think.

FFIX would be the first game I could.
X as well, but that game is easy to memorize as it is spoken.
VIII with disks 1-2 as I replayed those three times due to memory card troubles.

Any Zelda major plot-point, and most of LttP's, OoT's, and Major's idle banter.

A really, really large portion of Morrowind, GOTY.
And I hold myself proud for how much of that game I know backwards and forwards.

I own that promotional video!:lol

Obviously, a gift when I was still subscribed to Nintendo Power. They did several of these things way back when. Lesse...

There's Donkey Kong Country (one part where they say that game music has evolved so much that it's now worth selling their music on CDs), there's the N64 promotional video featuring a few games, theres the Super Mario 64 video (one part showing a guy running around in circles, and they showed the Bowser Battle 2), there's Star Fox 64, and there's Donkey Kong 64/Get Force Gemini.

...Gosh SF64 looks like crap. Such blurry textures, and little scenery. I've been spoiled.

Nintendo sure was cocky about them being #1 at the time. "We're in big trouble" says the Sony guy! Well, Nintendo, who's laughing now?

Okay, what is the one line that Crono speaks in the game?

The only time Chono actually speaks is in one of the specail endings of chrono trigger. You have to start the game in Game + Mode and beat Lavos after Schala opens the sealed door in 12,000 BC. After Marle and Lucca start talking about guys to much, Crono say something like... Oh crap... I had a brain fart. I know he starts of asking: "what are you two doing?" and after Marle and Lucca talk a bit, Lucca asks where they go now. And Crono say. "How about into the now?" But that's all I can remember right now....

*is ashamed*
