MKX came out today. It looks like a lot of fun and I definitely do not regret buying MK9 day 1 at $60, but I'm not convinced this is the title for me.

Especially when I see things like this:

That shot shows that you can pay to make Fatalities easier. *sigh*
Well, at least it is post match and not affecting the standings....

Haha, yeah. But it's not like that affects the game in any way. If it was like "extra energy" or something, I'd be more upset.

Right now, I'm just trying to get the game to run.

So just a note here. If you haven't read the MKX comics, you are going to probably be confused on a good chunk of the plot points that appear in this game.
