A few of us have been playing Space Engineers, and having some fun blowing things up (intentionally or not). The map we have been playing with was a great learning experience, and I've made a new map on the Mag SE server populated with just asteroids, leaving us with a lot of freedom.

Here are some highlights from tonight's map finale battle royale.

Fay, I'm sad you missed it. Time to start a new (bigger) world!

It was a great way to learn the game... even if we've only scratched the surface. Big Red One will always be remembered.

Bot & I started a new map tonight. We began by building a space station on an asteroid, and a mining ship to get things going. Great progress so far.


Deep Space Mag

New SE update came out today, and added Steam Workshop modding support.

I have installed several mods on the Mag SE server - when you connect to the server, your game client will automatically detect the mods used by the server, and download the files for you.

Since modding is very new, there aren't a ton of mods yet. You can see a list of mods I've installed on the server here (a couple of them are broken atm, and I've disabled them): http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =297326197

You don't need to subscribe to the collection unless you want to, as your game will automatically install the mods when you connect regardless.

This makes me happy. We need to get back into the base anyways and pimp it out.
