Hey everyone, been a while since I've done something creative on here so I thought I'd drop by

I've recently been messing around with things on Roll20, a wonderful site created to promote the play of tabletop rps online. It's got some great features that I won't spend eternity explaining. If you're interested head over to the site and check it out.

The reason I'm posting today is that I've recently been working on a Risk-Esque style game and would love to see if anyone is interested in playing. I have room for up to 4 more players (Lantis has already been recruited).

It's intended on being a very chill environment where we just play some fantasy Risk (kinda) and chill. Roll20 supports Google Hangout, so it also has a nice easy setup on the social side of things.

Anyways, here's a map of what we'd be playing on. If anyone is interested just let me know. Also definitely check out Roll20 if you're into rping. They're a great community that deserves more support.

We should probably set up a time to actually get this going... assuming it's actually ready to go.

It's pretty much ready, just semi waiting for interest to happen. I'd like to test some of the lighting a bit more, but other than that it's good to go.

Updated color coded map as well. Each of the colors is a different kingdom which you get bonuses for controlling all of (just like Risk). The Purple is GM played and basically is an impossible area to hold (think Asia) that is basically just giving some direction/environmental hazard to the players. Players can team up to take the Purple Empire down asap, or they can let the Purple Empire encroach while they attack each other. (There is a set of rules in place to avoid anyone getting picked on by the Purple Empire.)

Also no one starts controlling their whole area. You just start at your castle and have to go take control of your area first.

I'm completely unfamiliar with Risk, but I wouldn't mind trying it out.

Awesome. That two out of four spots. (we go do it without the other two spots it'll just be more fun/balanced with them) Maybe give it another day or two before we make plans? See if anyone else is game? Up to you guys.

And don't worry about it Ix, the rules are fairly simple. It's really just a matter of moving things around and dice rolls (which are made super easy with Roll20's system)
