Highlights include:

Words can't express how cool Mario Kart 8 looks. Even the power slides look stellar in HD. And there are freaking anti-gravity wheels. Some courses have you driving upside down with those. And bikes are back! Also, they made a point to emphasize online multiplayer. SPRING 2014 come soonerrrrr.

Also- remember this Wednesday(4-8 EST) and this Saturday(1-4 EST) there are a few Nintendo Demos at BestBuy. This is also probably a pretty great chance to streetpass on 3DS!

OH MY GOD. There's a new Art Academy- and they noticed the fanart on MiiVerse- and they are giving us tools from Art Academy with pencils, colored pencils, and pastels- coming this summer. I AM SO EXCITED. I actually recently got my Zelda fanart published in Nintendo Force as well.

Pokemon X/Y has a release date: October 12, 2013.

Super Mario 3D World is a 4-player co-op game, where people play as Mario, Luigi, Toad and Peach, and they each have special jumps and abilities. ONLINE? Who knows? But the new Cat Suit looks really fun. It'll let you get up a pole to get the 1-up if you jump too low. He can also climb walls and do Wolverine-type sh*t. Looks fun. If this is online, it's got a sale.

Mario Kart 8 for Wii U looks spectacular. It's going to be crazy. Motorcycles and gliders are back. They've introduced anti-gravity, so you can race upside down or on the walls of some tracks. I see a lot of playtime on this thing.

Wii U Party is coming. You can use the Gamepad to play tabletop minigames and such. It's what you expect with a Wii X game.

Wii Fit U is also a thing. You can exercise and stuff with it.

Nintendo loves the Miiverse art that's happening. So they decided to make a Wii U edition of Art Academy and they're gonna put a piece of it on Miiverse first so that users can making those crazy cool drawings on Miiverse. Launch TBA.

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD reel is shown. Looks like Wind Waker with better graphics. Rendered in 1080p and using shaders to give the Wind Waker a visual boost. They updated the game to use the Tingle Tuner with Wii U, mimicking the GBA/GC connection. You can also share messsages and stuff on Miiverse.

The Wonderful 101 by Platinum is a lovely game. The superhero group can transform into a weapon. As you use the Gamepad to draw, your heroes become different weapons. They can turn into anything through Unite Mode. September 15, 2013.

Donkey Kong Country Returns 2 or something. Dixie Kong returns in this game. The enemies still look generic. DKC Tropical Freeze.

Bayonetta 2 trailer. Looking sexy as ever. And she totally has blue-accented gear. I think she made a beast out of her hair. Looks like fun. She has shorter hair and a new costume. And now the gameplay. Bayo 2 is a 2014 release.

MonolithSoft's X has a new trailer. The game looks quite good. Trying to do an open-world game. The human robots can also fight and sh*t. Might be nice.

And finally, Smash Brothers. Starts out in the Animal Crossing universe and it's got a lot more characters and stuff. Ther'es a new series of art styles, it seems. I think it depends on what stage you select, which is kinda cool. Freaking Animal Crossing Villager is a character? For real? lol. New challenger: OH MY GOD, IT'S HIM. IT'S MEGA MAN IN SMASH BROTHERS! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! f*cking awesome. He has so many Robot Master powers. Son of a b*tch, man. I'm in. I'm in.

Finally, the showing of their booth off and addressing the concerns that it's not going to E3. 71 Wii U booths. Luigi's sweeping the floors at Nintendo's booth. So is Mario, apparently. Gotta do something. There are 3 new Pikmin player characters.

I do expect online from Nintendo now. Why? It all started with Mario Kart Wii. The online in that game is SOLID. I think they realized finally they can make serious bank and are comfortable with their net structure. We've been having a blast with Mario Kart 7 on the 3DS, and now we can play a TON more games with Mag Multiplayer. I'm personally excited to kick all your butts at SSB. I also think it's awesome we're getting more Nintendo characters like an AC villager.

They finally have nailed it. And they best keep doing so for SSB multiplayer. And we can all play pretty much- since most people either have a 3DS or a Wii U here.

And I'm also looking forward to Mario Golf 3DS online. But that's much more a niche game.

I'm actually interested in almost every single Nintendo game announced. I'm not a fan of Wii Party or Wii Fit U or whatever, but most everything else is great! Especially an Art Academy on Wii U. Stuff is fun, and you learn too. It is accurate.

And continued on nothing else. Even NSMBW series screamed to have online... but didn't. Actually, the only other online modern Nintendo game other than MKW is MK7. So yeah, I really wasn't hoping for much. But far be it from me to look a gift horse in the mouth.

I get you. On a high note- MK8 is going to have a match highlight reel! YEAH!

I think the most overlooked Wii U game is The Wonderful 101. It's crazy, but it looks like a lot of fun. And that you can draw the weapon shape on your game pad is good use of the game pad.

That's up to Square-Enix, Lantis. They own the character.

Also, the Villager meme is hilarious. I approve.

I'm just sayin' if they can talk Capcom into giving up Megaman, and Kojima into dropping Snake, surely they could get the rights to a character from Square who hasn't been touched since 1996.

They're more popular characters than Geno. If they could get Geno, they could target higher profile characters from Square like the FF4 and FF6 characters (Terra, Celes, etc.).
