Figure all of these smaller videos should go in one thread.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Mario Kart 8

Pikmin 3

Super Mario 3D World

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD

Bayonetta 2

Super Smash Bros. (WiiU and 3DS)

I love how they are trying really hard to expand into new franchises.

Donkey Kong Country looks fantastic. I'm genuinely surprised with the return of water levels but I'm glad, there's a lot that can be done with them. Also love those new camera angles, gives the levels much more depth.

That title is dumb though. Tropical Freeze sounds like something I'd get at a 7/11

Good job bundling these up. I liked how in-depth some of this stuff was.

Whoa whoa whoa, Wii Fit Trainer is going to be in Smash Bros!? That's hilarious! I'm sure the internet is raging over that but I'm actually interested in her now.

The Smash roster has gotten more interesting with each generation. Although it's too bad that 3DS Smash players won't be able to play with WiiU Smash players, since they each have different stages available. Or so I assume we won't.

Mario 3D World is yet another NSMB game. But at least they're improving. Cat Mario looks like he'd be an absolute blast. I love how he actually runs on all fours.

DKC: Tropical Freeze sounds more interesting than DKC Returns, mainly on account of the vikings theme. It reminds me a lot of the pirates theme from DKC2. But to my disappointment, it looks like you're still mainly controlling DK in this game. Dixie Kong's inclusion is trivial because of this.

I'd give the next DKCR a try if only now they have a controller that you don't waggle around like you are trying to get a dog interested in playing with a toy. At least, I HOPE they don't expect you to be waggling that huge-ass controller. What I don't get is why they refuse to bring back K Rool though. These new antagonists they are bringing in feel so... forced. I mean, viking sea-faring creatures is better than planks of wood, yes. But I really don't feel like would really care about them. Compare DKCR to DKC1. And now compare DKC2 to DKCR2. You KNOW it's not going to hit anywhere near the perfection DKC2 was. Though pirates/vikings? They tried at least? ... nah.

As far as MK8 goes, if they handle online like 3DS Mario Kart 7, then I'm sold.

There seems to be some conflict over if 3D Mario World has online or not. Some sites say it has it, others don't. And Nintendo does their usual and just says nothing. I will buy this day one if it has online. And I probably won't buy it at all if it doesn't.

I have to admit that freaking HD Windwaker looks off the chain. Though I will pass it up in a heartbeat if they expect me to do all that grinding for Tingle again. They are out of their mind. Though this is the second time they mentioned making some "changes to help the flow of the game." Just like Nintendo, they just avoid coming out and saying exactly what it is.

I love Platinum games. Bayo 2 looks sick. I was wondering how different it would be on the Wii U, but it looks as amazing as I expected. Combat looks crazy, and the set pieces are awesome. Can't wait for this.

As far as Smash goes, it's in the same boat as 3D World. Needs online or no purchase. I've played every Smash game to date. N64 and GC came out around the time I was still around friends locally to play with. With Brawl, that changed. And with the horrible online, I was stuck playing single player. And it was then that I found out that the Smash series is super boring and lame by yourself. Beating up AI isn't fun at all. I'm sure it's much like playing Mario Party by yourself.

Except Mario Party doesn't have an adventure mode. On that note, I wonder if the new Smash will have anything like that.
