So we have railed against the Xbone's 24-hour policy before. But no one had a real-life example. I do now.

So yesterday, I get home and boot up my browser, I get to see a message that basically said "call your ISP for more info". I call and get in and they tell me that ATT's had a problem with their network and it would be resolved in 2-4 hours! So without the internet, what could I do?

Oh, that's right. I booted up the PS3 and played Tomb Raider. I got pretty far in, too.

The icing on the cake is that I didn't actually get internet access back until THIS MORNING.

So I can say, without a shadow of a doubt in my heart,

f*ck YOU MICROSOFT.

I gad a real life example I didn't share for the podcast, but you've heard me tell the tale a few times. My first year at Alabama, I had Comcast and my Internet dropped for a week and I couldn't even do anything for school, much less talk to anyone online for a solid week unless I was at a school building. So with the 24-hr policy, I wouldn't have been able to play a game on the console for a whole week.

So stupid. The net here can go down for days at a time from certain storms, but I've been lucky so far. Hoping PS4 won't drop the ball still!
