Just got this for WiiU and am pleasantly surprised. A Sonic racing game that doesn't suck! The transforming gimmick is actually really cool and makes the game a lot more interesting. The game doesn't use the WiiU gamepad's capabilities that well but I'm still enjoying it on this console.

And come on, it has SHINOBI in it! I don't see Ryo from Shenmue anywhere though, that disappoints me.

If only you didn't need that many stars to unlock every single character (That could be translated to “if I didn't suck so much!") But yeah, I have found it pretty enjoyable too. And forget Shinobi, it has Vyse... VYSE! Skies of Arcadia FTW!

I'm ignoring the stars, I heard collecting all of them is a difficult and VERY time consuming process.

The multiplayer in this game is quite solid. There were no moments of lag or disconnections for me.

Unfortunately the only way to unlock other racers and special mods is through World Tour. So you might at least want to try a few stages
