So apparently- you can cheese numerous bosses by making hellstone/meteorite platforms and using the cross necklace. Hmmm. Though the Terraria kids get mad about that one, I think it's fine since it isn't even going to affect people. And those same little folks probably dupe.:P

I feel it's legit- the Cross Necklace is pretty darn rare, and it is using systems found in the game.

Wow, that's really smart, actually. That would probably be the best way to solo bosses. Though I imagine that fighting the twins and Skeletron Prime would still take some doing because of how actively they try to avoid you by just going up.

But I get it would do wonders for Ocram. Though I think we've already proven we can take Ocram fairly well legit. So making it easier for the sake of the grind is by no means a problem to me.

Cheesing it is fun! Meteorite platforms are the best cheese apparently.

I've been farming lenses today... we totally need to jam some bosses tonight! Cause I've been farming and stuff.

Finally starting up my hard mode world! This tree is hugeeeeeeee. Though I had to make modifications just to make the top room livable. Stupid "Not valid housing". Still isn't done because windows like whoa, but hey the whole basic structure is there.

I'll be on tonight if you are up for some bossing Lantis. Going to go get my Mexican food on here in a second. So hungryyyyyy.

So, I found out where the 2 rarest pets are! Or at least one confirmation.

Dude found the Honeycomb in the lava layer of the underground jungle, above hell. Same guy found the Werewolf Fang in a wooden house in the cavern layer underground in a gold chest as well. Normal mode, so that dispels the very implausible rumour that "you can only get these two pets in hardmode".

Now I have a drive and a cause! YEAH. I'll probably be playing some Terraria tonight on XBL.

And now, another friend is offering to do Hardmode on the PC version since he found out I liked the game. He was the one to initially recommend it, whoops. My PC character is still in full Molten gear. Oh wow, haha. That's going to be weird.

Terraria console bug fixes got approved! They said the patch is being pushed out ASAP.

Quote:
The bug fix patch has been approved by SCEA and will be pushed out as soon as they can get it out.

Huge thanks to everyone for sending in feedback, suggestions and reporting the issues and bugs you've been experiencing.

The list is pretty huge, but the key fixes are:
Improved network stability that should resolve several multiplayer issues where players would not be able to connect or would encounter other issues such as crashes and the game not functioning properly during multiplayer.
Time of day is now saved when exiting a game.
Fixed Magic Missile crash/kick issue.
Fixed that a local world could sometimes be overwritten by another player’s online world.
Fix for clay pot placement issue.
Fix for Vilethorn thorn glitch.
Improved controls when in a shop user interface.
Improved Hellforge positioning.
Tweaked analog stick dead zones.
Fixed crash when quitting the game with inventory on screen.
AND MANY MORE!
If you do not see a particular bug that you are experiencing and have reported to us, do not panic. This is the first patch to fix the critical issues along with whatever we could quickly fit in to get you all digging.

There are other issues on our list that we continue to actively correct and will let you know their status in the near future.

http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/f ... sed.99070/

There's the list of fixes. Looks like we can't just opt out of blood moons anymore.:P

I also like that they fixed the clay pots not being on tables, the online stability, AND most importantly got rid of the bugged chance for an online world to overwrite a local one. I hope they also made dungeon brick able to be mined... since well, that doesn't really work right now. I need to coat my ice tree and barrier with a 3-strong layer of dungeon brick to prevent clownage.

EDIT: Well crap, so far it is Sony only. I imagine this is because of Microsoft's terrible patch policies.

lol, I'm sure it'll come over to xbox soon enough.

I'm going to miss that vilethorn exploit though. I tore Skeletron up with that thing.

Yeah, Vilethorn was an exploit worth using. May it rest in pieces that don't move or despawn.

I also expanded my vault world today.:D The original wooden tree got an extra snazy outside layer like a butterscotch shell on ice cream.:)

YES BIOME CONTROL KINDA.

But basically, I'll be starting fresh since my PC save got wiped.

This update is looking freaking amazing. I might record some stuff while I play, dunno yet.

I will DEFINITELY stream some stuff.
