Sounds cool so far.

In simplistic terms, yeah... you got it. But in even more simplistic words: it's a game that gives you quite a power trip.

The closest I have to a power trip is.. Tripping on a power cord.

Yeah, I own DMC2 (not the best one, I know!), but it freezes at a certain point.

You do have a nica feeling of power. Similar to the one of Spider-Man 2 or Enter the Matrix. I love games that make you feel powerful =)

DMC 3 was the best up to date. You had 5 guns and 5 melee weapons... But you had 3 diffrent "job classes" (Trickster, Gunslinger, and Swordmaster) in which you had several moves for each weapon and gun. There were another 3 job classes that didn't have any extra moves but helped out none the less.

With all the options for battle, I liked to call it "Mc Dante's: Have it your way" (Dante is the protagonist, for those of you who do not know)

Unfortunately, DMC 2 was the weakest link so far and turned away alot of fans of the first one. Also, the game ends with no closure at all. (Dante rides off on a motorcycle and say something about going to Hell)

DMC 3 happens before even DMC 1 so the storyline is ending chronologically at DMC 2. I've heard that DMC 4 is still taking place while Dante is still young so we can't expect to see a close to the series any time soon.
