Virtual Boy hurts your eyes. They need to take some of those games and remake them in a compilation. ...In more than one color.

Duck Hunt, you had to have been there to enjoy it. For what it's worth, it was a great game way back when. Nowadays it's outclassed in every way by games like Point Blank. Still, I'm kinda hoping its true that they're remaking it for the Wii. At least for the Virtual Console.

High Scores were just one way to challenge yourself way back when. They were also bragging rights. Who cares that you were able to beat Super Mario Bros? Were you able to beat my score of 800,000 points? That was the general idea, anyway. It would've been much better if you could actually save the high scores. What's the point of inputting your initials if your achievement's going to be erased the moment you turn off the game? Besides that, there's nothing worse than racking up a super high score in Super Buster Bros., only for the power to go out or some other freak accident to wipe the score out before you showed it to your friends.

Yeah. The guy the invented battery backed memory should win the nobel prize for awesome.

You know, the era of cart's (I dislike people who call them nintendo "tapes") isn't over in my oppinion. Like the mammals at the begining at the age of the dinosaurs they were merely forced to evolve into a smaller and less noticable forms. Eventually CD's will reach their maximum holding cappacity and we will switch back to carts in some form or another. I personally think that USB jump drives will be the medium of choice, especaily if they figure out how to put micro hard drives on them.

I dunno, 40GB is a lot of memory. But it's also expensive. But if it was a cartridge, it'd be even more expensive.
