Anyways, looking pretty cool. I liked how they focused on the Guinea Pig(?) at the one part. And... well. Something huge is coming... *points to thumbnail*

Also, World Map is now accessible in-game. Sweeeeet.

I'm not gonna lie, I haven't played this for a few weeks. I want to but I just haven't had the time.

Console version looks great, maybe I'm not too big on PC but I feel like I'm gonna be a lot more comfortable with a controller instead of an Assus touchpad. I know this may seem silly but I'm buying this for both PS3 and Xbox. I have some friends on PSN that will love this game and I'd like to do some Coop there. If you guys get it on Xbox I'll be there as well.

So, the console release dates are announced! March 26th for PS3, March 27th for 360. Oh my gosh like I needed more time-consuming games.

Downloaded the XBL version and gave it a go before work this morning. You'd think the controls would be hard to nail down but they're surisingly good for a console. You move the analog stick around to move the curoser in a sort of PC-Mouse-way, if that makes any sense. Going through menus such as the crafting menu is quick and efficient and you can hotkey items to the dpad. Basically, if youre itching for console Terraria, this is a valiant effort.

One thing I noticed is the lack a of lobby system. You'll need to invite people into your party for coop gameplay.

I'm liking it so far. Still addicting

I got a points card just for Terraria. I am going to get sucked in, I know it. At least the multiplayer will be a breeze to set up. And unlike Minecraft, there's a good bit of new content 505 added.

Xbox 360 Terraria. Nothing better. I keep talking about a tree house- what I mean is literally a tree house.

I've spent my time gearing up for hardmode. I'll be venturing to the underworld to explore, loot chests, and prep for WOF. I'm going to see if I can avoid having to make the molten suit. Shadow armor should hold up with the help of potions.

Apparently the world overwrite bug is still there. I caution anyone playing to back up your worlds file on the cloud. It is free with Gold anyways. It takes a little bit, but so worth it. Backing up your character is not a bad idea either.

New water physics, rain, cloud blocks, and new mobs it seems. Looks awesome. I wonder how long after the PC version that the console version gets updated.

Yup! I hope console gets it unlike Minecraft. I'd even pay for DLC. So worth it for the sheer amount of playtime.

Alright so. That random person that joined last night- apparently people can join even invite only games if your XBLA party is open because of the leaderboards. What people have been doing is clicking gamertag names from there, and then getting to your gamertag card and selecting to "Join current game". Which freaking sucks, but apparently has been happening to other people around various forums. Most people are being griefed, but if you restored a world backup it wouldn't matter anyways. It's also nice to see people getting along by offering to help those who got stuff stolen, but honestly I wish it wouldn't be over that.

Anyways, seems like the easy fix for this is more than likely adjusting the XBL settings I think. You can make parties private. But I don't know if the "Join Session in Progress" thing can be adjusted. I also don't know if the invite only option in-game is even actually broken, since I don't think we've used that yet.

I didn't check to see if they were able to get a hold of anything yet. Honestly as long as they left the hard mode ore alone as well as the pet bat alone, then no harm done.

We'll just set the party to private from now on and hope for the best. I wonder why I got hit though, I'm no where near high enough on the leaderboards for anyone to pay me any attention.

I think that's a good idea. I honestly don't know either, but I think it was after we killed WOF. Apparently a ton of people are having trouble with it. I also got a message from some guy in the UK about the leaderboards like "UR 1 BELOW ME" and I'm like "Okay?"... I mean it's weirddddd how hung up people get on that stuff. He also never mentioned what category that was in.

All caps, letter-word representation, numeric characters for numbers, no punctuation... it's like a culmination of all possible stupid. I know my spelling is bad, but if I ever send a message that looks like that, please shoot me.

So I went home and checked. We were smart to leave when we did. They managed to get to the potion chest and looted it all. I kind of regret losing all those gravitation, shine, and spelunker potions... but if that's the worst of it, then I got off lucky.

But still... grrr. I had amassed a good number of all the potions.

AUGH. I hate people so much. I do believe the private/invite only setting does work though. But oh my gosh how dumb. But yeah, I've seen on GameFAQs that people have had a lot stolen- including stuff like Adamantite Forges.

Well we'll make new potions! With blackjack and hookers! In fact- forget the potions!

I've successfully found a way to harvest souls at least. If you lead a Wyvern to your spawn, you can die and respawn immediately and he won't leave. I've gotten a ton of souls of flight at the cost at dying about 15 times per Wyvern... so it's whatever. Also, I put a cluster of 50 meteorite ore in both the corruption and hallow. Now those weak little meteorite things spawn that die in one hit and nothing else... and they have every much a chance as dropping souls as the hard mode guys.

Recently, I've spent the time to make speplunker potions which are vital for finding hard mode ore. I was very unlucky with my world in the fact my corruption spawned in a jungle biome and was dwarfed fairly badly. As such, I don't have a lot of demon alters to break, meaning I don't have as much ore in my world as I could have. So spelunker potions will at least help me find what's there.

Also, I just recently found out that the best accessories in the game are dropped by mimics. So I'm about to go grind on them for a bit. Apparently if you made a hell bridge to fight WOF, there's a good chance they'll spawn across it if you take off any torches, so I'm going to do that.

Remeer and I defeated Skeletron! But we lost against the Wall of Flesh, who is too strong for me especially since my deadly yo-yo thing isnt very effective against it. Now I'm redesigning my base so NPCs can move in. I'm thinking of making a small PVP arena just for fun.
