Games that feel like SNES make me happy.

Usually that is also the case with me, but I dunno Atelier Iris just didn't click with me. I like the general idea of collecting alchemic materials and using alchemy, which was nice for a while. Then I got bored... really bored. Then I returned the game. However, I hope you have a good time with them. Ya know, seeing as you bought all 3.

We are closing the gap... though taking our sweet time. I'e already played Majora's Mask, and Twilight Princess and SK hasn't played any of the ones left. So yeah, fun times. I was a little dissapointed with Oracles of Seasons and Ages. It got to the point were I was playing it just to get on to other ones and not because I was really enjoying myself. As well...

Playing more Dead Space, and MAN is that a good game. It scares the crap out of me too. Of all the good things I've said about the game, I never mentioned how cool the weapons seem. So far, the Pulse Rifle is the only one that I find somewhat useless.

Okay, it is here I have to share with you that this game really REALLY creeps me out. I'll take forever just walking through a room (with gun out the whole time). And SK has done a thorough job of making sure I know he thinks I'm a pansy about it (at least my deathcount is still 0... SK can't say the same).

But last night, the great hand of justice smote (smited?) him with great pwnage. There was, at one point, this blood curdling scream that almost, in cartoon type fashion, sent SK to the ceiling as he dug his claws in and hug suspended with all hair standing on end... as wide-eyed as anyone could get. I wish you guys could have seen it.

Btw... can you be so scared that your blood curdles? I mean, what does that mean anyway? Turn to cottage cheese? Because that's what it is... curds. But how is that realated to fear? Maybe it's when you die your blood coagulates and it's kind of a throw-back to "scaring you to death." Bah, who cares...

I'm still working on RM1, so I still haven't progressed in Blue Dragon. And I haven't started Disgaea 3 again since I had to format my PS3. Though I may end up picking up Left 4 Dead before I even get back to the previous two games mentioned. We'll see.

Tried one of the XBOX 360 Community trial games. If I want to unlock the full game it is a whopping $2.50.

You just stole my post! I also picked it up for $20. Haven't had the chance to play much tho. I created my first transvestite cleric (I thought it was a girl! Now I have a male cleric named Eve)
I'm still trying to understand all the little customization aspects, since I'm used to Phantom Brave's way

I am level 76 in WoW on my Retribution Paladin. My GF is already 80, but we'll brush that aside.:)

I'm also working on Mother 3. Chapter 7.

I just recently beat Phoenix Wright Trials and Tribulations. What a WONDERFUL last case. :^_^

I'm guessing the male cleric gets that a lot then.
I had the same situation with the rouge. After leveling 2 female classes to get the class, I imagined he was (and he looks like) a girl. Good thing you can rename characters. Eve the male cleric is now called Okama.

I'm already on my new game + :shades
(Yes, that means I saved after losing to Mid Boss at the end of chapter 1)

currently im on the last few dungeons of star ocean, but ive taken a break since i burnt myself out of it.

ive put my focus instead to three things. first being castlevania: ecclessia (sp) in which case im in the final dungeon, final boss actually. second is book 7 of the tales of the mazalan empire. finally, im trying to get my rpg maker game finished for release (currently the demo is done and the second chapter is very close to being finished).

its a busy schedule but i can manage it. working full time sucks :(

finished Lufia: The Legend Returns, was getting really boring near the end. I was level 90 by the time I got to the next to last dungeon, so i stopped fighting every battle and just rushed to the end of the game.

The ending was very epic, even for a GBC game. It was almost as epic as Lufia 2's ending.

Sittin' pretty at the last boss of Atelier Iris the first, realizing the fact I'm more than 10 levels too low to be here. Hooray for rushing!

Well, after some hours of grinding, I beat mid-boss...

^In which chapter? I just beat him in chapter 6. That chapter was hilarious!
The ~30 crammed monsters, the single demonslayer, the baseball prinnies, the HUGE overlord from another dimention, the Prism Rangers in search of friends (and the prevention of their transformation)... awesome. All of it. And Mid Boss to close the chapter.
It's my favorite so far. :lol
So far I haven't needed to grind levels, but it would be nice to know how to makr more money. (I usually spent half of it reviving characters :( )

I grinded to beat him chapter one, now I have to do it again in chapter 4. I'll tell you, he is one tough cookie. Although the only ways i make money is either by replaying levels, or selling unused equipment.

I just opened the door to some swamp with a name like bubblegwump or some thing to that effect in Banjo Kazzoie on XBLA. But I don't know where the door is and I can't figure out where to go. I suck at games.

I was about to say that I didn't need to grind fot THAT fight, but I did save the game after losing and restart the game with my levels, which meant I could level up my lowest characters as I reached Mid boss again.

Anyway. My Wii works! I need a new AC adapter tho. At least I managed to get my copy of Brawl out of the sconsole. So relieved.

Working over night is killing my gaming... I haven't been playing too much of anything lately. I am even only posting now and not sleeping because today is my day off and I have been up since 4pm yesterday. I want to play more but I am in zombie mode.

BUT I did manage to find another puzzle piece and open a diff door in B-K and start in there. Still can't find the swamp one.

I have been grinding for the last 4 hours of play in SO:FD. Still in the fighting arena city. I forget its name.

I have been doing some nice things in Two Worlds. The horses are indeed on crack as Leviathan says in the TW topic. Even broken at times when they stand STAND horizontally on a rock face.

I kinda want to pick up Puzzle Quest again. Which by the way if any of you haven't played it yet dl the trial today.

The Duke Nukem death match vets are brutal and I hardly can force myself the shame of joining matches. But I really want to get those 500 kills to finish off the cheevos.

Dude, zombie mode FTL...

Chrono Trigger DS - I don't think I can sing it's praises loud enough. Minus a few changes that I think are a little unneccessary, this is just wonderful. A 13 year old game gets re-made, and I'm enjoying it just as much as I did 13 years ago. <3

Blue Dragon - Slowly but surely. I actually stopped playing this for a good while due to the fact SK gave me a good deal of RM1 work to do (which is an awesome awesome thing, btw). But I'm just about finished with it so that I can continue playing. On a side note, it's awesome that I'm playing two games at the same time that were directed, composed, and drawn (art director or whatever) by the exact same group of people.

Left 4 Dead - OMG, I can't stop playing this game. I'd tell myself to work on RM1, CT, or Blue dragon... then Ix or Hyper would be like "Zomg, let's shoot zombies." And I'd just be like... why the hell not?

Dead Space - Even slower than Blue Dragon... but that's because the only time I play it, is with SK. But the game is just as good (if not better) than any Resident Evil. Bo, if you haven't played this game yet... you really really should. I know you are an RE fan.

Megaman Legends 2 - There's acutally an LP thread for this one. SK and I are playing through the second one now. This is also why we get less Dead Space time.

Zelda Majora's Mask - Yeah... the Zelda Party SK and I are said to have been playing through. ALL zelda games ever made (that weren't developed or released by Phillips). We plan to write and article for the Mag about each one and rate them all from worst to best.

I'm on Disgaea's Final Chapter. I think this is the chapter where I've died less. Maybe because the level difference is so big that I actually think before attacking. (And that I realized I haven't bought equipment in a while)

Did you actually just say "if not better" than any Resident Evil?

Wow. Thanks for the tip. I very much appreciate it. Yes RE is my absolute favorite series of games and survival horror is my clear favorite genre. I have always intended to play Dead Space but I have to first wait both for a price drop and to catch up on my unplayed Silent Hills and Fatal Frames.
