I'm a bit curious if these worlds are saved on a server somewhere so you won't have to be online and logged in for a friend to visit your world... I'm guessing not, but that would be nice if you could.

I believe each player has their own world, and you can invite your friends to it, or something like that.

Thought I'd point out also that the worlds are incredibly small. I've already he the end of the invisible world wall twice.

I guess they don't trust us to manage a larger save file on our own machines.

Yeah, and it's now messed with that achievement were you need to travel 500 meters from your spawn location via railcar. I'm still 60 meters off and I hit said wall.

chances are you spawned right next to the wall or something.

Not really, the worlds really are fairly small. It takes a good while to reach, but you'll get there.

Luckily the achievement still works if as long as you are in the same chunk as your spawn location. I just backed the tracks up another 60 meters and it worked... I'm a bit surprised. But yeah, at least I got all the Minecraft achievements.

I'm entirely curious now. As long as they update it for free, I'll grab it. Might get some points on Amazon tonight.

Just be aware you'll be paying 20 for a game you can't even beat yet. But since we have so many people already getting it, we should set up a time to play.

Maybe you guys can jump in my world and ride my rails to get an easy cheevo on what would be one of the hardest.

Maybe, we'll see. I was planning on waiting until the game was complete, but if enough people are joining already, sure, I might consider downloading it anyway. As for time, just remember that I work nights on the weekends - 9:30pm on Fridays and 10:30pm on Thursdays and Saturday/Sundays (central time).

Syn, 1ce, Ixzion, Lantis, and I all crafted a few mines yesterday. I'm going to craft a few more. Maybe get some work done on my castle or if Syn gets on, help him start his world.

We had five of us all on Ix's map at one time. It was kind of awesome. His world has become kind of my world. I geared my world to farm cheevos and that's about it. My bigger builds are going to be in Ix's world.

Man, I really need to use my Gold Live code. And actually be in the room with the 360. We're only usually in that particular room at night, and catch up on TV. Ah well. I will eventually get.

Right now, I am terrified that the last 4 hours spent on building my castle are going to disappear. The game says it is finalizing the save and may have froze there... I turned the tv off after a minute of that screen and am going to bed. Hopefully the building will not revert to it's last saved state of half the depth and a third the height.

It happened to me too while I was doing stuff.

Well, it did not save and when I exited without saving *ragequit* it froze a second time.

Apparently exiting without saving crashes the 360.

I exited without saving several times. I made an old fashioned torch held sand pit trap and I exited without saving several times so I wouldn't have to reset the trap every time.

Though one of the 5 times I exited without saving while taming the same dog 5 times (for a cheevo) it did lock up. So yeah, it's possible, just not very common.
