Actually, all those other things never really stuck with me. The animalities MAYBE. But the babalities, frenships, ect... I really didn't care for.

But the hara kiri's were really fun, because after a match, it was always a race to see who could correctly hit the combination of buttons to do either their fatality or hara kiri.

It's like the last thing as the loser to do, to get the last laugh in.

In fact, here they are:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LAkSMPEhIso&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LAkSMPEhIso&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Ah, good times.

They were only in Mortal Kombat Deception. So if you missed that one, then of course you wouldn't... I, for one, really liked them.

Didn't Ultimate MK3 or something also have 'kill yourself' thing going? I vaguely remember it.

Also, yes, Sindel's is pretty much great. =D

I was pretty sure there wasn't until I looked, now I'm sure there isn't.

Durring my search, I found this video... which is full of awesome:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OE6cfHSfWV8&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OE6cfHSfWV8&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

...specially about half way through.

Yeah sure... anyway, MK3 Ultimate did have more options after the "Finish Him/Her" annoucement than any other mortal combat. each fighter had 2 fatalities, an Animality, a Babality, a Friendship, and a Brutality. Additionally, each fighter had their own stage fatality combos. But in later Mortal Kombats, it was just a matter of using lifting moves (uppercuts and such) at certain areas of the level to innitiate.

Yeah, I remember all those alities.
UMK3 is an awesome game, I believe.

The best part is that they took a bug from previous games and turned it into a canon character (Ermac). He's still my favorite ninja =D

It was a good game, too bad the current MK games aren't as fun.

Well, I finally played it. Firstly, watch this.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PYn2zZAqOgg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PYn2zZAqOgg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Now if you are someone who like to string combos like a mother and try to rack up the highest possible hits in a combo, you'd think this would be freaking awesome.

But when I played it, the first thing I did was I went to the characters move lists. They changed a few things. Firstly, most the characters have a crap ton of special moves. But they have absolutely no long combos. You are lucky to find a 5 hitter. And even if you do, it's not a pop-up combo so that you can string it with something else.

So basically I see this as a game were you just spam all the special attacks... which sucks. Hopefully I'm wrong and once I pick this up sometime down the line that these "pro" combos or whatever will really bring the just make the game as good as the past installments.
