I had no idea that ToTA had multiplayer... interesting.

head on head FFT? Bloody hell, that's brilliant. Heh, but I can't say it's worth the price of two PSP's and two copies of Wor of the Lions.

Well, you would have to be insane to buy two of each. :P

Ah... then I assume that it's not a wireless player vs player then. Where you just pass the console around?

I hate the fact that you can only get certain items via the multiplayer in FFT:WOL, such as the new onion knight's equipment (all of it) and a few others, but not sure.

I need to get my sister a PSP so we can fight each other.

*I would destroy her with my summoner's Leviathan*

Best summon spell is and always will be Golem. That summon will save your life... many times.

Thats also an awesome summon, but I like Leviathan's attack radius better.

I always thought the multiplayer in Tales of Destiny was interesting. You had to find a certain equip, but if you put it on a certain character, the second player could control that character in battle.:D

Eternal Sonata is also multiplayer during battles. It's available on PS3 and 360. I'm only an hour into it myself so I can't say how good it is yet, but it certainly has a Tales feel to it, probably because it's also made by Namco and has a similar battle system (though not exactly since it's turn-based roaming). You do get to play as Chopin though :p.

@ Fay - holy crap... I never knew that. I'll definately have to try that one out. I'll take a look at what that equipment is... if you have a link, that would help. But don't go out of your way, I'm sure I can find something.

The item is called "Channeling", and it is found in the snow temple near the beginning of the game, moreso.:D
