Its the same thing that happened with GTA: San Andreas, even if it were mexicans somehow it gets the racial attention.

Yeah, I think you are right. Though I've never really got into the GTA franchise... I think that you killed pretty much every race left to the imagination. Oh well...

To be honest, outside of a few threads and vids... the "RE 5 racist" propiganda hasn't really spread all to far. Maybe this won't get bent out of praportion... at least I'd like to think.

See all this depends on what one means by "racist".

When someone says "it is not racist" are they implying:

"I don't THINK it is racist"
"I don't FEEL it is racist"
"NO ONE should think it is racist"
"No one should feel it is racist"
"the developers were not intending to convey a racist message (BUT DID)"
"the developers were not intending to convey a racist message AND DID NOT"?

It would be helpful to be clear about what we mean and recognize that different people have different opinions as to what they mean by the word "racist".
